Businesses are always looking to stand out from the crowd. Here’s 5 businesses that are doing just that by becoming Arizona Green Business Certified. Just how do they stand out? To become certified, businesses need to have exemplary and sustainable business practices regarding water use, energy use, toxins elimination, waste prevention, local sourcing, workplace safety, and transportation. Here are the latest 5 businesses to earn Arizona Green Business Certification:

FilterClean™ - Certified Arizona Green Business

FilterClean is a mission-driven company focused on saving 2Billion gallons of clean drinking water in Maricopa County per year. Using a proprietary closed-loop cleaning system — meaning water is treated and recycled to be used again instead of wasted — pool cartridge filters are cleaned and rejuvenated, saving on average 2,500 gallons of water per set of cartridge filters (4 filters per pool) when compared to conventional cleaning methods while also helping to extend the useful life of the pool cartridge filters, further helping save our landfills from premature filter disposal. FilterClean also offers pick-up and drop-off service for uninterrupted pool operation, helping save customers from having to drive to and from their operations on E. University Drive in Tempe. FilterClean services all sectors including residential, commercial, public, schools, and more. www.filterclean.green

This is comparable to the aviation industry which reportedly accounts for 2.4%.
