Tanairí Ochoa-Martínez
Director of Fuerza Local
I have always dedicated myself to giving a voice to entrepreneurs who do not recognize the economic power they have here in the state of Arizona. Being the daughter of an immigrant mother and entrepreneur, I understand the effort and sacrifice that one makes to be able to undertake as well as continue to be successful in their business. It is wonderful to see the transformation from an idea to a business. As the director of Fuerza Local, one of my focuses is the Business Accelerator Program, where I make sure that all the components are established so that the participants obtain all the necessary benefits so that they can meet their business goals.
What attracted you to Fuerza Local? What attracted me to Fuerza Local was the opportunity to make an impact in the Latino business community here in Arizona. Many Latino entrepreneurs do not recognize that they are entrepreneurs and that is why I want to be able to provide the support they need.
What motivates you? What motivates me is to see that our participants fulfill their dreams. Likewise, seeing the perseverance that businesses have and seeing how we can provide them with the resources they need to meet those goals.

I started working for a doctor who had his own clinic and I realized the great need for resources that were not available to him and that is why I love working with Fuerza Local for the vision it has and the resources it offers to all small businesses. I love being part of a great team working together to support our members and our Latino community.
What motivates you?It motivates me when businessmen appreciate our effort and together we work to continue manifesting the vision of Fuerza Local.
What Fuerza Local project is your focus?Currently my focus is coordinating events for our members and increasing our community of entrepreneurs who are part of Fuerza Local.

Community Relations Liaison
Being the first generation in my family to graduate from college, I grew up realizing that there are many needs that the Hispanic community has due to the language barrier. Definitely the lack of resources in the business area. Hispanics have many dreams, we just need a little guidance to get to fulfill them. Thanks to Fuerza Local that need has been covered. I am very proud to be part of the Fuerza Local team.
What motivates you?It motivates me to see how there are no limits in people who work hard. It is impressive to see how a person develops a small idea and turns it into reality. A reality that impacts not only your family but also our economy in Arizona. Perseverance and hard work leads to success.
What attracted you to Fuerza Local? One of the things that attracted me to Fuerza Local is being able to help my community. The Hispanic community that wants to improve themselves and achieve the American dream. For me it is super motivating to see their business grow. See them reach their goals that impact entire families. The need for education among the Hispanic community is very important. I firmly believe that Fuerza Local makes a big difference.
What Fuerza Local project is your focus? The focus that I have at Fuerza Local is to coordinate events / activities in order to provide resources to our entrepreneurs. I work closely with instructors and students in the Business Accelerator program.

I know firsthand the needs within our community, especially in business education to properly manage and protect our businesses in Arizona, as an immigrant it is vital to have the support of organizations like Fuerza Local that really help the community with the sole intention of power to make them grow and obtain a better future for all. I am very proud to be part of this movement and help more Hispanic entrepreneurs through my knowledge.
What motivates you? Being able to witness every day how more entrepreneurs continue to join this movement, creating a culture of empowerment and local business growth that directly benefits the homes, economy and Hispanic communities in Arizona.
What attracted you to Fuerza Local?I was part of the 11th Generation Business Accelerator where I was able to recognize the importance that the program generates in the minds of each of the entrepreneurs who have gone through it. The knowledge imparted is invaluable and generates a social, cultural and business impact in our Hispanic community in Arizona. Even being a student, I had already decided as one of my goals, to belong to this movement and to support more entrepreneurs through my work.
What Fuerza Local project is your focus?I focus mainly on being the connection between entrepreneurs and our organization through the media and social networks, as well as keeping in direct contact with the students and graduates of the Business Accelerator.
