Arizona Good Business Summit Unites Local Leaders Statewide, March 11

Local First Arizona Brings Business Owners and Changemakers Together to Share Ideas and Shape What’s Next for Arizona’s Local Economy

PHOENIX (Jan. 19, 2026) — Local First Arizona will host the 2026 Arizona Good Business Summit in partnership with the Town of Gilbert on Wednesday, Mar. 11, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at HD South, Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum. The event will bring together more than 300 of Arizona’s locally owned business leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers for a one-day gathering focused on connection, collaboration, and strengthening local economies.

The Good Business Summit unites socially conscious, creative and forward-thinking leaders from across the state to explore ideas and opportunities that help build stronger companies and communities. Guided by this year’s theme, The Future We Shape Together, the summit highlights the role locally owned businesses play in Arizona’s economy and communities.

“This is not your typical business conference,” said Kimber Lanning, founder and CEO of Local First Arizona. “The Good Business Summit creates space for locally owned businesses to learn from one another, explore new ideas and actively shape what’s next for their companies and communities.”

The 2026 summit will feature a keynote presentation by Matt Lehrman, civic facilitator and speaker known for his work on community dialogue and collaboration, along with additional speakers and contributors representing Arizona’s diverse local business community. They will invite attendees to engage in reflection and dialogue around connection, shared purpose and the choices communities make to shape the future.

Additional programming includes breakout sessions featuring more than 20 local speakers focused on local business growth, access to capital, branding, technology and the role of locally owned businesses in shaping Arizona’s future. The day will conclude with a guided tour of Downtown Gilbert’s Heritage District, offering attendees a closer look at the town’s history through the lens of local business, arts and culture.

“The Arizona Good Business Summit is an important platform for advancing sustainable economic growth in our state," said Dan Henderson, Economic Development Director for the Town of Gilbert. "By convening Arizona’s business leaders, this event fosters collaboration and innovation that strengthen communities. Gilbert is proud to support initiatives that drive long-term prosperity and the resilience of businesses throughout Arizona.”
