GetAssist: A Strong Community is Always the Endgame

GetAssist is built on the notion that a community is a powerful thing that can have a tremendous impact on our lives. Through collaboration, discussion, camaraderie and a willingness to help one another, we’ve seen communities come together and flourish time and again. There are countless benefits of supporting what immediately surrounds you, so we often ask, why look outside your community when everything you need lies within? Such a strong sense of pride and belonging remains at the forefront when we make conscious efforts to invest in our own economies and talent pools.

There are multiple signs of a prospering community, but financial and social stability tend to be two big factors. Is there a positive and upbeat buzz when your community is spoken about? Are small, local businesses finding success and sustainability? These are tell-tale signs that the community has a great atmosphere and a promising future.

GetAssist and Local First Arizona share similar missions. Along with fostering community connectedness, we likewise join in providing support and encouragement to sustain the success of local businesses.  Since GetAssist’s U.S. launch in Phoenix, the feeling of welcome has been overwhelming. This, too, is a sign of a thriving community. As leaders in driving community connectedness, we must embrace new businesses as they emerge to support the growing local business landscape. Thanks for the warm welcome, Local First Arizona and city of Phoenix!

We’re thrilled to have sponsored and taken part in this year’s Arizona Fall Fest, a community event that attracted thousands of proud Arizonans together to celebrate local businesses. We are also proud to share in Local First Arizona’s mission to help local businesses #ConnectWithPurpose. GetAssist has chosen to gift Local First Arizona members a complimentary membership on GetAssist for access to tools like HR Communities, downloadable Project Logs for project management, invoicing, document and media storage and targeted local leads. An endowment into Arizona small businesses worth over $2 Million, with plans to invest a total of $10 Million and create over 300 jobs in the Phoenix-Tuscon area.

To enhance the already-existing positive local business atmosphere in Phoenix, the GetAssist platform provides a nexus where small businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals connect for a purposeful online social experience. It connects you to the people who matter most...your community, neighbors, friends and the business community who, much like you, are looking for simple ways to truly make life a little bit easier for themselves and their communities each and every day.
