Along the I-19 corridor just south of Tucson you will find the Green Valley Village Farmers & Artisans Market, the area’s longest-running farmers marketplace. Every Wednesday morning, the market comes alive with a variety of small local food businesses and artisans at the Green Valley Village. This market is reminiscent of the mercados from ages past, where merchants from the surrounding areas came to town to sell their wares.
