Your Guide to the 20th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival

Come hungry. Bring your friends. Maybe even bring your dog. Arizona's biggest celebration of local businesses is back, and there's more than one way to experience it.

On Saturday, November 7, Local First Arizona's Certified Local Fall Festival returns to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix for its 20th anniversary. With approximately 250 vendors, live entertainment, food, drinks and activities for all ages, this free celebration brings together the people and businesses that make Arizona one of a kind.

Whether you're coming to discover your next favorite local business, sample Arizona flavors or spend the day exploring with family and friends, there's plenty to see, do and discover.

Here's how to make the most of your day.

Come Hungry. Leave Happy.

One of the best ways to explore Arizona is through its food, and Fall Fest brings plenty of local flavor to the table.

Craving something savory? Grab tacos, burritos or asada fries from El Pastorcito Taqueria, or enjoy fresh and vegan-friendly Asian style entrees from Wok This Way. Save room for something sweet from Fairytale Brownies, or fuel your festival adventures with a coffee from Stroll Coffee PHX.

Movie lovers can even get their popcorn fix at the Harkins Theatres pop-up, complete with appearances by movie characters.

And that's just a taste of what's waiting for you.

Raise a Glass to Arizona

The expanded Beverage Garden is another destination worth exploring, featuring more than 30 Arizona beverage makers, including Arizona Wilderness Brewing, Hundred Mile Brewing Co., O.H.S.O. Brewery, SanTan Brewing + Distilling and Wren House Brewing Co.

Purchase tasting tickets to sample local offerings, discover new favorites and shop select products to enjoy at home.

While you're there, check out the Misgif Airstream photo booth and OneAZ Credit Union photo opportunity.

Bring the Whole Family

The Festival isn't just a shopping trip. It's a full day of experiences, with plenty to keep festivalgoers of all ages entertained.

At the Localist Activity Zone, presented by Vantage West Credit Union, jump into a game of bubble soccer, explore hands-on marble run activities with the Children's Museum of Phoenix or meet a real-life raptor close-up.

Keep an eye out for the roaming Petal Fairy, bringing a little bubble magic to the festivities.

Feeling competitive? Head to the Local First Arizona tent for musical chairs hosted by Big Hat Entertainment. You might walk away with bragging rights and a few extra raffle tickets.

And for skateboard enthusiasts, Cowtown Skateboards will bring the action with ramps, demonstrations and tips for riders.

Make Your Mark on Fall Fest

What better way to celebrate 20 years of community than by creating something together?

Arizona artist Jesse Perry is bringing his colorful, desert-inspired vision to Fall Fest with a 24-foot mural. Stop by the Localist Activity Zone to watch the artwork take shape and learn about the inspiration behind it.

While you're exploring, snap a photo with the larger-than-life Arizona display, then visit the LocalistAZ activation to write a postcard and share a little Arizona love.

It's a chance to celebrate the places, people and experiences that make this state feel like home.

Don't Forget the Dog

Your four-legged festival companion has a destination of their own at the Bark Park!

Stop by to meet local businesses and organizations including Bundle x Joy, Handsome Hounds, Shelter Dog Coffee, The Barkin' Book Nook and the Arizona Humane Society.

With treats to discover, a hydration station for thirsty pups and a picture-perfect setting, the Bark Park is another reason to make Fall Fest an outing for the whole family.

Find Your Next Favorite Local Business

With hundreds of Arizona vendors in one place, Fall Fest is an opportunity to discover businesses you might not otherwise encounter.

Browse books at Changing Hands, explore comics and collectibles at Samurai Comics or flip through records from Stinkweeds and Zia Records.

Discover Latino-owned businesses and entrepreneurs through Fuerza Local and Amor Collective, showcasing an assortment of goods, services and flavors.

You might find the perfect gift, discover a new favorite maker or meet the person behind a business you'll be visiting long after the festival ends.

And if you're looking for your next Arizona adventure, stop by Arizona State Parks and Trails for inspiration.

And the discovery doesn't have to stop when Fall Fest ends. Explore LocalistAZ to find more locally owned businesses and regionally-focused organizations across Arizona and keep putting your local power to work.

Find Your Rhythm

With five bands and a DJ bringing music to the festival, there's no shortage of reasons to stick around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Take a break from browsing, catch a performance or dance along. After all, celebrating local isn't just about what you buy. It's about getting out, connecting with your community and enjoying everything Arizona has to offer.

20 Years of Celebrating Local

For two decades, the Certified Local Fall Festival has brought Arizonans together around something worth celebrating: the businesses, makers, artists and entrepreneurs who give our communities their distinct character.

And every purchase, new discovery and connection made at Fall Fest is part of something bigger.

When we choose locally owned businesses, more of our money stays in Arizona, creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs, strengthening our economy and helping shape the communities we want to call home.

That's worth celebrating. And there's no better place to do it than alongside thousands of fellow Arizonans who love local as much as you do.
