Meet Pin Drop Travel Trailers

This Arizona-based manufacturer, located in Cottonwood, has expanded its offerings to meet the needs of those who are looking for adventure and destination camping. In fact, the Pin Drop trailer came to be because of a camping trip. Co-owner Tim Elinski, and Mayor of Cottonwood, was preparing to leave on an extended road trip with his family and decided it was time to create a prototype of the micro-trailer that had been on his mind. With 20 years of contractor experience behind him, he went to work to create a prototype to use on an upcoming family road trip. When the prototype proved successful, the Pin Drop Travel Trailer was born.

Pin Drop Trailers are driven by their four core values: Resurrect Rural, Own Your Holiday, Build for Tomorrow and Leave no Trace. Pin Drop believes in supporting the rural communities around them and take pride in providing jobs and opportunities there. They look for materials and talent in these rural areas first. They also want to help their customers own their holiday. Part of the idea behind the Pin Drop trailer was to create something that was self-sufficient so the camper could be untethered and go when and where they wanted. This freedom is important to Pin Drop. Pin Drop builds for tomorrow, meaning they have built their trailers to last and easily repaired. Finally, Pin Drop trailers are built to help you leave no trace. They believe in immersing yourself in nature and want to help their campers do that with as little negative impact as possible.

Camping during COVID

Wearing a mask and staying socially distant is as important as ever heading into the Fall. For those who have gone totally stir crazy, a way to escape for a little while may be exactly what you need. With Arizona weather starting to cool down, now is a great time to camp and take Pin Drop with you.

Pin Drop has made the Pin Drop 2.0 Road Runner available to rent and sample. What sets this trailer apart from the competition? It has a wide array of amenities that are solar-powered, which means you don’t have to worry about finding a plug. The trailer itself is lightweight and made with convenience and comfort in mind. You have access to a full kitchen, a 12-gallon fresh water tank, a queen sized mattress, power stations, overhead and under-mount lighting, a two burner stove top AND extra storage space. You can also completely customize your trailer if you purchase one. Do we have you convinced yet?

Ruth Ellen Elinski, co-owner and director of communications, said, “Initial reviews of the Pin Drop rental experience have been incredibly positive. Renters have enjoyed access to conveniences, specifically the functional kitchen and extra storage that you don’t usually have when remote camping.”

As Indie Week XXL Partners, Pin Drop Trailers is offering a special offer running all month long for rental reservations. Are you ready to get out there? You can learn more about Pin Drop Trailers and either rent or buy your own at https://www.pindroptraveltrailers.com/.
