Paleo, Sushi and Tacos Oh My! Meet the New Devour Restaurants

It’s finally Devour season! Devour is definitely one of our favorite events – what can we say, we love food. To keep everyone safe, Devour will be an at-home experience this year but it’s still one of the best ways to try out some new local restaurants. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a new favorite! In 2022, Devour will be graced by the presence of some of our regulars. We’re talking about Beckett’s Table, Cibo Pizzeria, Citizen Public House, FnB Restaurant, Galo Blanco Cafe and Otro Cafe, Gertrude’s Restaurant, Nook, Southern Rail and The Gladly. But we’d also like to introduce some of the fresh faces joining Devour for the first time!

Kaizen

Kaizen, which is a Japanese concept meaning continuous change and improvement, creates beautifully crafted sushi and omakase (similar to a tasting menu). The menu is an interpretation of modern, elevated Japanese-Latin cuisine. Chef Gustavo Muñoz uses the freshest fish and other ingredients, some unexpected, to make sure the meal is an experience you won’t soon forget.

PRIKLY

Featured in Edible Phoenix and on the Food Network, PRIKLY is the brainchild of Laura Gonzalez and Raul Vargas. Their Latin-inspired food is always beautifully plated and is truly a feast for the eyes and the belly. These chefs strive for perfection and create meals that will take you on a sensory journey.

Lom Wong

The cuisine presented by Lom Wong not only celebrates the diverse culinary traditions of Thailand but also the people. Chefs Alex and Yotaka Martin visited Thailand and their menu is inspired by the people they stayed with and the recipes they learned. A truly beautiful experience, their food is regional and tells the story of the villages the recipes come from.

Sapiens Paleo Kitchen

It’s such a letdown when you go out to eat and realize the restaurant doesn’t have options for your diet. Well, Sapiens Paleo Kitchen solves that problem! You’ll find French classics like duck confit as well as dishes that support KETO, Whole30, AIP and custom dietary requests. Chef Aurore de Beauduy was trained in France and is committed to using high-quality, unprocessed, locally sourced ingredients.

How good do these restaurants sound? Reserve your Devour meal starting January 31 and don’t forget to tag @DevourPhoenix in all your Devour photos!
