Food: The Tastiest Part of Indie Week XXL
As we wrap up Indie Week XXL, we saved what many would consider the best for last: Food! If you have some local restaurants you’ve been meaning to check off your list, this is the week to do it. We love our local restaurants and the farms that bring the freshest produce right to our tables. To bring things full circle, you’ll even find ways to reduce food waste. Composting is a great way to not only reduce waste but it creates a great fertilizer that you can use in your own garden. Discover new eateries in Arizona by following Devour Phoenix on social media and checking out Local First Arizona for the latest deals. Food brings people together --- and what we put in our body matters. It keeps us healthy, strong and can even provide comfort. Eating local means not only supporting the livelihoods of local farmers and restaurateurs, but making sure Arizona can grow the freshest food possible during a pandemic and beyond. Plus, getting locally sourced food doesn’t cost any more than shopping at a grocery chain. Eating local food makes your heart, stomach and wallet feel good!
We want to help you find your next favorite place to eat! Check out the Local First Directory where you can find many of Arizona’s local restaurants listed. If you check out Good Food Finder, you can find Arizona’s Farmers Markets and find resources on learning how to compost.
