Discover Something Local and New During Indie Week
Support Arizona's independently owned businesses June 25 - July 4 for a chance to win big
PHOENIX (June 2, 2022) — Independents Week, or “Indie Week”, Local First Arizona’s annual statewide campaign supporting locally owned businesses returns Saturday, June 25 through Sunday, July 4, 2022. Presented by Drink in AZ and OneAZ Credit Union, Indie Week will feature a digital and printed small business action card full of 25 opportunities to participate and win prizes.
Categories include shopping at a woman-owned business, ordering carryout from a local restaurant, shopping at a farmers market, and sharing photos on social media. The goal of the annual campaign is to add more dollars to our local economy and encourage localists to discover something local and new.
“Independents Week is a great way to connect with your favorite local businesses and support your community,” says Thomas Barr, Vice President of Business Development of Local First Arizona. “We can keep up to four times more of our money in Arizona by supporting local businesses and building hometown pride altogether.”
The high-energy campaign will kick off Sunday, June 26 with Phoenix Independents Bowl hosted by Psyko Steve Presents at Let It Roll Bowl, one of Arizona's only independently owned bowling alleys. All proceeds from the event will once again benefit Local First Arizona and help make Arizona a better place by supporting locally owned businesses.
