3. Union Public House | Tucson, AZ

The Union Burger from Union Public House will leave you wanting more after your last bite. It features a local chuck patty on a fresh house made and perfectly toasted buns, arugula, pickled onion, bacon jam - and our favorite, the Red Dragon Cheddar cheese. This cheese buttery and spicy with a bite but not too hot. The mustard seeds give Red Dragon it’s flavor, the brown ale makes the cheese moist and tangy.

Pro tip: The Veggie Burger is also top-notch.

The Haunted Hamburger is your spot for a burger with a view overlooking the Verde Valley and the San Francisco Peaks. Once known as the wickedest town in the West, Jerome is now a prime day-trip destination of Arizonans from all over. Served on house baked buns there are plenty of burger options with an assortment of toppings from a classic BBQ Burger to flavors of the southwest loaded up on the Haunted Burger. Wash it all down with a boozy shake and don’t be surprised if you also get a taste of the paranormal while dining in.

They say, “Reyes’s recipe for our guacamole tops our chuck burger with melted provolone, sautéed onions, and tomatoes.
