Northern Arizona Good Jobs Employer Interest
We are excited to invite your organization into the Northern Arizona Good Jobs Network aimed at building workforce skills and enhancing employees’ professional development. Our Northern Arizona Good Jobs program helps employers like you find qualified candidates for job openings, upskill current employees to help retain or grow their position with your business, and assess your competitiveness as an employer and identify your opportunities. We offer you financial incentives just for committing to use the network resources in one or more of these ways.
The incentives are paid by Local First Arizona, a nonprofit organization that serves as the Arizona Rural Development Council and the largest coalition of locally owned businesses in North America. You claim your incentives by:
Signing a letter of commitment to one or more of the options
Completing an online form and attesting to fulfilling the commitment
Providing a current W-9 and, in the case of the Level 4 commitment option described below, uploading the verification statement you will be provided.
It’s that easy. Really. We are here to support you as a provider of quality jobs in a rural area because you strengthen the local economy by choosing to do business in a rural community.
Here are the different levels of commitment you can make to the Northern Arizona Good Jobs Network and incentive you can earn with each level. You can commit to all of the levels or just the ones you consider most valuable to your workforce needs:
Level 1, Employer interviews candidate who has completed a Northern Arizona Good Jobs training program and attests to such, providing feedback on quality of those candidates ($100 per interview)
Level 2, Employer allows incumbent workers to complete training on paid time, attesting to such and providing feedback on quality of utilized training programs ($75 per course per incumbent worker. Note: Some training programs offer online courses that are about one hour each.)
Level 3, Employer provides a wage increase to an incumbent worker who completes training, attesting to such ($200 per incumbent worker)
Level 4, Employer works with a network partner such as Center for the Future of Arizona to complete a Good Jobs assessment and develop an action plan ($1,000 per employer payable for completing the full three stages of assistance or $330 for each stage if less than all three steps are completed.)
We understand the time and resources required to invest in hiring good talent, developing employees and sustaining a workplace and organizational culture that attracts and keeps great people. That’s why this program was built with employers in mind — making it a low-risk, high-reward opportunity to improve workforce capabilities while maintaining business operations.
Fill out the form to the right if you would like to be contacted by a NAGJN Representative for additional information.
Thank you for your commitment to growing and supporting your workforce. We look forward to partnering with you on this impactful initiative.
