THE 20-YEAR STORY

Two Decades of Community Impact

Twenty years ago, Arizona Fall Fest started with just 27 local businesses gathered in the Duck and Decanter parking lot. The idea was simple: bring local businesses and Arizonans together, build pride in what our communities create and show how choosing local strengthens Arizona’s economy. Today, that grassroots gathering has grown into the state’s largest celebration of Certified Local businesses, bringing hundreds of businesses and thousands of people together at Margaret T. Hance Park.

That growth reflects the heart of Local First Arizona’s mission: local entrepreneurship creates opportunity and stronger, more resilient communities. Fall Fest gives Arizonans a chance to experience that idea firsthand — meeting the people behind local businesses, discovering what’s being created right here and seeing what’s possible when we invest in the people and places that make Arizona home.
