So many of Arizona’s towns hold stories of Old West legends, so it’s no surprise that with these stories and legends many have turned into haunted tales of days gone by. Here’s a roundup of where you can take a ghost tour in Arizona. Are you afraid of ghosts?
The Old Bisbee Ghost Tour is a fun way to explore Bisbee’s narrow streets and winding steps after dark. You’ll learn some of the spooky history of Bisbee and who knows, you may even meet someone from Bisbee’s past (we did).
The Old Bisbee Ghost Tour takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7pm.
This monthly tour explores haunted locations around town to try to figure out who is haunting Bisbee and why. You’ll use EMF detectors, K2 meters, IR cameras, and digital voice recorders to capture any hauntings.
Bisbee Hearse Tour http://hearsetour.com/schedule.html
Ride in a retrofitted hearse for a spooky tour of Bisbee’s haunted haunts. The ride concludes with a walking tour through Bisbee’s alleyways and winding steps.
Be spirited away on this haunted walking tour of Bisbee’s most spooky bars. Guests will enjoy a ‘spirit’ of their choice at each of the four locations. As you sip your drink your Ghost Host will recount the haunted tales of each bar.
The Old Bisbee Haunted Pub Crawl takes place the second and last Saturday of each month.
The Hearse Tour takes place every Friday and Sunday nights at 9pm.
Jerome, Cottonwood and Clarkdale
While visiting Northern Arizona, you will definitely want to include a ghost hunting adventure to Jerome. Because it was a ghost town of 45 inhabitants for many years, those seeking “spirits from the past” make Jerome a destination site to experience paranormal activities.
Choose from three different tours:
On this five hour tour, your Spirit Guide will pick you up at your hotel, resort, or timeshare in one of our comfortable, climate-controlled vans. Your guide will narrate the rich history of the Verde Valley as you travel through Cottonwood and Clarkdale.
From there, you will ascend 1800’ up Mingus Mountain to Jerome as your guide relives legends and tales of several murders, suicides, tragic mining accidents and other acts of mayhem resulting in visits from ghosts, apparitions and spirits who linger in this eerily ghost town.
Once in Jerome your guide will supply you with EMF readers and lead you into numerous haunted buildings as well as taking you to sites where visitors from the past will make this a “chilling and thrilling” adventure you will long remember. Be sure to bring your digital cameras as you are apt to capture orbs, shadows and other surprising phenomenon as we stop in the old Jerome Cemetery at the bottom of the hill to investigate.
This tour includes a meal at The Haunted Mile High Inn & Grill or Grapes Restaurant.
This tour includes all of the above, except for dinner. This tour is four hours.
On this two hour tour, your other-world experienced guide will meet you at the New State Motor Company, one of Jerome’s most haunted and historic buildings. You will be given EMF readers and flashlights to take with you into haunted buildings and take you to sites that were formerly the scene of several acts of murder, suicide, mining accidents and other acts of mayhem.
Be sure to bring your digital cameras as you are very apt to capture orbs, shadows, apparitions and other surprising paranormal phenomenon.
Take a walk through downtown Phoenix and learn about the history, the death and mayhem that happened in Phoenix’s early years. You’ll also get a peek into the paranormal activities that many have claimed to experience.
Walk the streets of Tombstone where the legends of the Old West used to walk, or do they still? You’ll also help investigate the O.K. Corral.
The Haunted History Tour takes place every Friday and Saturday night at 8:00pm.
Explore downtown Tucson after dark on a walking tour, sure to put shivers down your spine. Your Ghost Host will lead you on this walking tour through Tucson’s streets while telling you the ghostly stories of the most haunted buildings in town.
The Tucson Ghost Tour takes place Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00pm.
