The Certified Local Fall Festival, now in its seventh year, celebrates Arizona’s locally owned businesses. This family-friendly street festival drew over 6,000 attendees last year and almost 60 member businesses participated. Entertainment is provided by some of Arizona’s favorite musicians, participating restaurants provide samples from their menu and local breweries and vineyards provide refreshments in the Beer & Wine Garden. A raffle and silent auction raise funds for Local First and the first 500 attendees receive gift bags.
When: Saturday, November 12, 2011. Begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
Where: The Duck & Decanter, 1651 E. Camelback Rd, Phoenix
How you can participate: Local First Members can promote their business in several different ways.
- Booth rental: Members have the opportunity to show off their wares by renting a booth or half booth. A full booth is 10 x 10 and includes three 7’ tables, tablecloths, 2 chairs and a canopy for $249.00 ($220.00 for food vendors as you will need to buy an off-site health permit). A half booth includes one and a half 7’ tables, tablecloths, 2 chairs, and a canopy for $130.00. We will pair you with a like-minded partner. Contact Russ@localfirstaz.com for more info.
- Sponsorship: Special areas of the Festival are available to sponsor. The Kid’s Bouncing Castle, Kid’s Obstacle Course, Kid’s Art Booth, the Rock Climbing Wall, the Beer and Wine Garden and the Music Stage all have sponsorship packages available. Contact Kimber@localfirstaz.com for more info.
- Raffle and auction donations: Items with a value between $20 and $100 can be donated for our raffle drawing. Members may also donate items valued over $100 for the silent auction. Your business will be announced throughout the day & thanked on the LFA website. All proceeds will help Local First grow and expand programs and visibility for the importance of local businesses. - Gift bag donations: Get your information in the hands of Festival attendees by putting promotional items in our gift bags. For $45.00, we will include your company’s promotional item…pens, magnets, coupons, booklets, whatever you’d like. We will be putting together 500 bags. Contact Helene@localfirstaz.com for more info.
