Are you looking to branch out? Hoping to get your product onto more shelves and in more hands? This month, Local First Arizona invites you to partake in an in-depth panel discussion about expanding your home business. We will be joined by panel speakers Rachel Malloy of Bunky Boutique, Meka Horton of Good Body, and Tracy Perkins of Strawberry Hedgehog, to share their insight and experiences as both retailers and product makers. Don’t miss this opportunity to get honest, straightforward information to help you grow. Reserve your spot below. Seminar pricing: $8 pre-paid, $10 at the door.

About the presenters:

Rachel Malloy opened Bunky Boutique in 2007, offering the Phoenix community fashion-forward clothing, accessories, and more for both men and women. Bunky Boutique keeps their finger on the pulse of both the national and local fashion scene, showcasing many talented local artisans in their “Loyal to the Soil” campaign. In 2009, Rachel and her team moved their popular shop to its current location next to Giant Coffee, located near Central and McDowell. For more information, please visit Bunky Boutique

Tracy Perkins began Strawberry Hedgehog to provide friends, family and herself with affordable, pure vegan body products. Named after the beautiful local strawberry hedgehog cactus, her successful product line grew steadily and in 2007 became official. Tracy continues to be a one-woman show, producing her line of animal by product free, as well as an adjunct geology instructor at a local community college. Strawberry Hedgehog products are sold at six independent Phoenix retailers, seven different Whole Foods Markets, as well as two retailers outside of the state. Meka Horton started Good Body in 2013 with one clear concept: Give crafters the opportunity to have a store-front presence without the effort of day to day business operations. In addition to providing crafters with space, Good Body connects to the community through volunteer efforts, workshops, DIY clinics and daily non-profit giving.
