Local Connections(1)Local Connections, Speed Networking for Locally Owned Businesses

The Wed, December 9th. 11:30am – 1pm will be rescheduled for a later date. Contact erika@localfirstaz.com for details.

Goodmans Interior Structures.  3925 N. Business Center Drive.

Locally owned businesses create the greatest number of opportunities for other businesses in Arizona.  When local businesses work together, we keep more money in the community and create more jobs and opportunities where we live.

“The “speed networking” event was a fun way of meeting different people – all the people in the room! So often at networking events, you end up talking to a small group of people – this way you were able to talk to everyone.” – Vicki Saxon, BadgeMan

Local Connections is a unique opportunity to meet local businesses that, like you, want to support local.  This event is a moderated speed networking event from 11:30am – 1pm.  You’ll have a chance to meet with businesses to let them know about what you do and learn what they do to create more opportunities.  Bring lots of business cards and the ability to communicate quickly and efficiently about what makes your local business special.  There is a $5 fee to attend which will cover the cost of complimentary light snacks and beverages for the event.  We will also provide Local Tips, a handy sheet of information you can share with your clients and customers about the importance of supporting local as well as upcoming opportunities and events that can benefit you.

“The format allowed for a good amount of time to discuss my business and hear about others, in the time for a lunch. A good networking experience. Since my product is artistic and so visual, the format allowed me to show others what RetroTrek does.”  – Dale DeNunzio,  RetroTrek

This event is ONLY open to Local First Arizona business members.  There are only 20 seats available, so you must register in advance here.  Email Erika@localfirstaz.com with any questions.
