The Haunt at Monsterland
Arizona’s only haunted attraction that can boast Hollywood quality sets, costumes and over 50 animated props! After your scare, get a bite to eat at the Monsterland Restaurant.

Horrific Movie Night Mondays at SanTan Brewery
Join SanTan Brewery for a month of spooky movies! Showing: The Strangers; The Firefighters; Thirteen Ghosts; Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer; and Pet Sematary
When: Every Monday night in October, 10pm

Halloween Story Telling with Larky Hodges
Inviting all kids and kids at heart to join acclaimed storyteller Larky Hodges for an evening of spooky Halloween tales. Tales will be appropriate for K-7th graders with a special scary story for the 4th graders and older at the end. Younger children with older siblings can do a craft project while waiting. Costumes encouraged!

Horror Remix presented by ZIA Records

The Great Pumpkin Festival
Every autumn the Desert Botanical Garden’s Great Pumpkin Festival is one of the Valley’s favorite places to find that special pumpkin.
When: October 25 & 26, 8:30am-12pm; October 27 & 28, 8:30am-3pm
Where: Desert Botanical Gardens, 1201 N. Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 85008

Howl-o-Ween
Look out for zombies, witches, vampires and other frightening characters hiding around every corner! (Recommended ages 8 and up)

Bashas’ In-Store Halloween Party
All Bashas’ stores will hold a free Trick or Treating Party for families. Join us in costume and enjoy free cookies and apple cider. Also, decorate your own Halloween cake for only $5!

Railbirds & Halloween Party
Join us on Halloween weekend, Saturday, October 27th, for Phoenix’s own wildlife scavenger hunt! Tickets are just $15 and include a light rail pass, a tee-shirt, and loaner binoculars.

Haunted Hotel Ball at the Hotel Valley Ho

Smelly Dog’s Halloween Costume Contest
It’s time for our 4th Annual Halloween Costume Contest.  So dress up your four-legged friends and join us for a howling good time! There will be prizes for dogs and people from Smelly Dog and other vendors at the event.
When: Sunday, October 28, 3pm-7pm (costume contest at 5pm)
Where: 7th Ave. Stroll in Michael’s Cafe Parking Lot at 5025 N. 7th Ave. just South of Smelly Dog behind the cleaners. Park behind Smelly Dog and walk through gate.

Halloween at the Phoenix Art Museum Presented By The Dr. Diabolic Show
Dr. Diabolic, Phoenix’s newest horror host will present a screening of the 1978 John Carpenter horror film Halloween! Prior to the screening there will be a Halloween Costume Contest where the winner will be awarded a cash prize.  Museum admission is complimentary!

Dr. Diabolic’s Traveling Roadshow & Fun Time-Variety Hour
Dr. Diabolic will present the November edition of his Traveling Roadshow & Fun-Time Variety Hour during November’s First Friday.  The show will feature live Day of the Dead Musical & Flamenco performances, an animated short film and a special 35mm vintage Mexican Film trailer tribute.  Museum admission is complimentary!
