Our May Mixer was a combination of great setting and seating at Furniture Affair. Members strolled through 28,000 square feet of eclectic home furnishings while noshing on delicious food and drink, including contributions from fellow Local First members Sweet Art Bakery and Souvia Tea. The folks at Furniture Affair have even more than great eats & dinner tables to feast our eyes on; they also have a ‘Vintage Market,’ live tutorials and a range of Design & Professional Services from home builders, realtors and interior designers! This was my first event in quite awhile – I’m really glad I attended. I will definitely be making the LFA Monthly Mixer a regular on my calendar it was great!
Thank you for hosting this great events. I got to connect with old friends and even made a few new ones. I can’t wait for the next event.
Nancy’s team did a great job of hosting. So many great items offered! I met the people from Striking Stone – what a great company & concept. They’re looking to expand their operation into a small warehouse setting with approx 2000 sq ft in the Deer Valley area. Good turnout & always great to see new faces return again each month!
What a great mixer and thank you Furniture Affair for hosting. While I was there looking around I discovered a nice guy in the back painting with some very interesting paints made with chalk. I will be in soon as promised to purchase some of that paint. I also enjoyed mingling with other fellow Local First Members and meeting some new faces. But, the best part of the night was when they announced the 50/50 winner… Me, and I walked away with 52 smack-a-roos! (dollars)…
